An event so big it took 50 years to plan! Your event begins at Summit Point, West Virginia and its famous road course. Drive your Shelby the way Carroll Shelby designed it to be driven: Hard and fast! This course is perfect for track novices and experts alike, with its long straights and winding s-curves. We have secured an entire hotel at a fantastic rate close by to the Carlisle event. I can assure you that it took quite a bit of higher ups to book this entire hotel for the weekend as Ford weekend in Carlisle sells out many months ahead of time for the entire area. The Team Shelby official hotel info and rate will be released as soon as tickets go on sale in December. In fact we have negitiated to have 24 hour security for the Shelbys at the hotel as we will have the entire property with PLENTY of parking for cars and trailers. This will be "base camp" for Team Shelby members and we want all to be a part of it so please don't book a room until the official hotel info has been made available. There will be an official track hotel close by to the track and an official Carlisle hotel close by the Carlisle portion of it. So logistically you would stay at the track hotel and then Friday AM drive the poker run to the Carlisle Hotel to check in and then go to either the reserved drag strip or straight to the show grounds. Both hotels will be announced in December when tickets go on sale. I can assure you though that we have secured fantastic rates at both hotels and have reserved the ENTIRE Carlisle area hotel so no worries about rooms or rates. We will definitely need some assistance pulling off an event of this magnitude - especially on the track portion. Also with the rarest cars, are any Concept cars coming? Would be nice to see the GR-1 (although some reason, im thinking this car was destroyed a little bit ago - did see at the 08 Carlisle) Would be cool to see the 04 Cobra Concept if that is still around. The packages have been updated for additional person pricing that can be added to each package as needed (track or non track). Please remember though that these tickets are limited so if you are certain you want to add an additional person please do it when you purchase your tickets as they most likely will not be available later.
