SecretSquirrel
A few days ago, I noticed my headlight switch was no longer illuminating when the lights were on. I replaced the switch and now it does but I've never really paid much attention to the switch until I noticed the issue. Not that I've replaced it the "off" "park" and "Headlight" symbols are illuminated but the fog light symbol and the knob aren't. I can't remember if they're supposed to or not. Could someone do me a favor and look at their car and let me know if my new switch is illuminating correctly?
54First
Hey Squirrel, Only with the ignition on, the fogs light up a small green bar to the left of the knob under a graphic of the fog light, which doesn't light up. The knob doesn't light up. Steve
SecretSquirrel
Thanks, I hardly ever drive the car at night and couldn't recall.
raycutchins
This is a very common problem that Ford knows about. When you take the switch out the bulb will have melted the holder and no longer works. All you have to do is change the LED light to correct this problem. This has been a problem for a long time and is still not corrected.
