esterobay
I have noticed the dash on my recently purchased 2008 SGT Coupe with 2500 miles has some faint white residue on it. Looks dull, but I do not want to put something on it that will make it worse. Any ideas on what to use on the 2008 dash pad? Thanks

Thanks The only thing I iuse in the car's interior is Blue Magic Vinyl and Leather Cleaner. It cleans well, leaves no grease, and works on everything. Smells nice, too, not overpowering. I also purchased the Shelby SGT dash cover for added protection.

SGT/SC#0471
I have never used anything other than a damp cloth if that. Dry duster does the trick. Best part is at 22k miles car still smells brand new inside. Armor All is for philistines BTW...

When I bought my car it came with a cheap dash cover (not the Shelby version) and it looked great but everytime I jumped on the gas it tried - and often succeeded - to slide off the dash. And when I was at speed with the windows down, it would lift off the dash and fly around. Neither was a good situation so I removed it. Does your Shelby cover stay in place? I had thought about using Velcro or something to hold mine down but I was afraid there might be a residue left on the dash by the Velcro and didn't want to risk it. Thanks for any info! The cover does stay in place while driving. If I remember correctly there was a double sided sticky tape to place in the corners but I also did not want any type of residue or potential damage to the dash. Haha, I had that same experience with my 93 tbird back in high school... always fun to get up to speed, put the windows down, then grab madly at the cover as it tried to get sucked out the window.
