07SGT0517
I ordered some new shocks and struts from Mr. Strano (great customer service, and ridiculously fast shipping, ordered yesterday, Fedex called this morning asking if I would be around, granted I live only a state away). A quick question. Do I need new nuts and bolts for the install or can I use the old ones? Any thoughts would be great. Thanks! grsybtch
Ford says the lower bolts and nuts are one time use at least thats what I was told when I put my camber/caster plates in From the install instructions: NOTE: We highly recommend replacing the strut-to-spindle mounting hardware while installing this kit. Ford considers this hardware to be one-time use only. The new OEM hardware can be purchased from your local Ford dealer or Maximum Motorsports (part# MMF-3). Four (4) bolts W714652 S439 and four (4) nuts W714653 S900 are required. Note that this is newly updated Ford hardware; it is now fine-thread, and requires a higher tightening torque. The new torque specification for this hardware is

Michael 07SGT0517 They may come with new bolts and nuts and you can save money by getting them from lowes. They have the same grade actually all grade of bolts and nylon nuts and they also have every plastic fastner you would for any car. Their prices are cheaper than homedepot and more organized, I went bolt crazy and bought several different sizes and set up just in case. Good luck with the shocks great brand Anthony
