steve-s
I have a 07 GT500 and today installed a K&N CAI kit that was supposed to be a plug and play according to K&N. Took it out for a test run and it threw a check engine light. I plan on taking it off tomorrow and am slightly pissed. ANYONE know if there is a way to reset the check engine light "without" a scan tool?? Appreciate any help that might save me some dough. Grabber
Steve, you can reset the dummy light by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and then reconnecting it. This will clear the code. If the code comes back...you have a problem that needs to be looked at. BTW get rid of the K and N product. In my opinion you should go with VMP or JLT or Ford racing stuff. steve-s
Thanks Grabber, I'll try that and have to save up the cash for a "good" CAI. Sure wish I'd went that way instead of trying to save a buck with buying the K/N junk setup.

Did what you said Grabber and engine check light has reset. I put the stock box back on for now. Thanks again.

rwahl
I had FRPP power upgrade pkg installed w/mufflers & tune by dealer -- unbelievable difference in throttle response and power -- started the dreaded axle hop! Recently got CEL and was the fuel pump pressure. At dealer now getting replacement @ 10k miles! Anyone else have this problem?
