I find it odd that Team Shelby doesn't notify TS members by email about this. :headscratch:

Thanks for letting us know. Now I wonder if / where I might find it.....

Bound to happen... the magazine, although nice to have, is glorified advertising for current

products. And more power to them if it works.

But what they can't take away from the SGT & SGT-H is our history:

First modern production Shelby Mustang to hit the streets (SGT-H)

First pre-title modern Shelby Mustang vehicle sold to the public (SGT)

First modern production Shelby Mustang to have final assembly at SA Las Vegas (SGT-H)

First modern Shelby Mustang to win a championship (SGT)

Not that it means much to most folk who slave over the latest HP numbers, but I've always

prefer dealing with the minority who appreciate pedigree.

Glorified? Thats a bit harsh. Is it a tool for advertising Shelby products? Yes, but there have also been some great articles on Shelby's history.

OK, a bit harsh... but as an advertising tool you know what I mean: the articles (even the great ones about the history) are still centered

around the current product offerings. So no reason to fret about the lack of SGT info, or KR,Terlingua, 40th Annivesary, and CS6/8 for

that matter. I do also get the point that the Magazine does provide a good historical record for our modern cars.

Heck the local corner store has it around here. King Soopers, Wal Mart, Kum&Go, Safeway, I haven't walked into a store that doesn't have it in the past few days. :)

I just got my membership package last week and it's got a different magazine in it. The one I got has the GT350 on the cover with the title "Modern Legends".

I guess I need to go check the newsstands to make sure I don't miss out, huh?

Edit: I just checked and the magazine I got last week is the same issue I've had for months and months. Who can I contact about getting the new issue? I'm not sure why I was sent an ancient issue with my membership package but I really think I should have received the latest one.

This must be recently because last weekend I tried 2 King Soopers, 2 Safeways, a Target, a Walmart and a local magazine/book store and no-one had it. Hopefully, my local stores will have gotten them in now! Yipee!

Greg,

Do you have Hy-Vee Food stores in your area? I picked up one at my local Hy-Vee yesterday.

On a side note there is a tiny picture of folks waiting to get into the banquet room at the Tulsa Mid-America event and I think I see Beth & I waiting in the line.
