pmason718
I'm a huge fan of a white Shelby with no stripes but would like to have red interior. Burning Blue Star IV
Honestly, the color of the interior didn't even cross my mind when I got my car. I think the current interior options are just fine.

stewarbc
I have a 2012 White Shelby GT500 with Recaros and I'll tell you this.........they are awesome! You won't miss the color. Trust me. Every now and then, I do have a hankering for red stripes. That feeling usually goes away quickly as I really like the stripe delete. " I re-skinned my stripe delete Grabber Blue 11' with OEM Ford black with red stripe covers. Cost about a grand but I think it looks killer. I also striped the car with OEM svtpp red stripes. Looks like it came from the factory that way. Now for the Recaros it might be a little more difficult and expensive, just my 2 cents, regards, denohew

I do go back and forth on the stripes. I figure I can always add them but wanted to leave it as it came from the factory. Love your plates. J/K.. I have often heard red interiors referred to as "Porno red". Scott
cj_gt500
Wanted white or silver with no stripes yet I wanted the black interior with the red stripes. Always thought if I didn't like the red exterior stripes I could remove them. After having it for a month I really like the exterior stripes. The interior black recaros with red accent stripes are awesome IMO. Just enough red and not too much.

In my ever so humble opinion.

I've noticed that you can only get black seats with red accents but the 5.0 can get red seats I had a '67 Cougar that was White w/Red interior. It is a great color combo but frankly I hadn't even thought of a newer car with the same combo. In my opinion it is a "dated" color combo and I wonder if you could get ANY new Ford/Merc in that color combo. It screams, "THE SIXTIES!". I've noticed that you can only get black seats with red accents but the 5.0 can get red seats I think stripe delete white, black, silver or gray, and a red interior, would look great - IF the interior were of higher quality than what Ford uses. Problem is, that a cheap red interior looks really cheap. A friend used to have a Series I E-Type, gray with red leather...man that car looked classy. NMAv
I''m thinking a lime green interior with the kona blue ... feeling dizzy and sick already .... Hadn't given the interior color scheme much thought. There are lots of shops around that will do it. If the climate were better, you could always go south of the border.... Rev Dennis
I like white with a tan interior..... How difficult do you think it was to find this combination in a Shelby GT? Ebay, autotrader and cars.com..... This was the only Shelby available in the US with a tan interior, which I happen to prefer.
