Corsa Sport with H-pipe sound clip?

I currently have on my GT500 some Corsa Sports 14311 that I had on an 07 GT. On the GT I loved the sound. On the GT500 not so much. I know the "X" is probably part or most of the problem. GT had a nice deeper tone but on the GT500 has a raspy tone at middle to WOT. Sounds nice at idle and lower rpm's but can't keep it in that range all the time. :burnout:

 

I have heard several combinations with the "H" and other axle backs but have not found any with the Corsa. The MMS from Alex sounds nice and deeper from the clips even with the "X". Actually best I have heard so far but not sure where to spend the cash.

 

1. Sell the Corsa's and get some MMS?

2. Get an "H" with the Corsa's

3. Go back to stock and give up for a while?

I just went through this and TX STIG posted on here what he did over in the Dallas area. I did the same and couldn't be happier. I had the Corsas and put a Lethal Hi flow cats and x pipe and man was it ever nerve racking. But TX Stig's shop installed a set of Magnaflow 10436 2.5" round resonators. Wow has it ever made the difference. Really toned down the mid and high rpm that was so terrible and low rpm is lower. And most of all, I can hear the blower again :-)

 

I bought them from my muffler guy, installed $140 a side. They looked at the pics from TX STIG and did the same thing and it came out perfect in my opinion.

No I'm running stock OEM shorties/manifolds with the Corsas. But TX STIG appears to be running long tubes and is happy with the results.
