Hello,

what do you think of these mufflers ?

I have these mufflers and I would like to have your opinion good and bad.

Who made these mufflers ?

I have heard it's BORLA, is that correct ?

If yes is it close to the Touring, S-Type or ATAK system from Borla ?

I can't find the part number on the mufflers (they are already on the car).

No drone at every rpm

Hey flo, off-topic question: how do people react to your GT500 in France? I hope your American muscle car is holding up well against the "refined" European sports cars! MORE HORSEPOWER! :shift:

You can't buy a Mustang at an european Ford Dealer so the Mustang is rare and the Shelby is even more rare.

Some people don't know the car and are surprise to discover that the car is a FORD ! so different from a fiesta and a focus.

It's quiet different from an european sport cars (independant rear axle, front wheel drive, 4 wheels drive, few of them with rear wheel drive, engine with turbo instead of supercharger). The handling is very good (Ford Racing suspension) but I would like better brakes.

I love the engine, the sound and the design of the car.

My first Mustang was a 1966 Mustang GT convertible.

Does anyone have a sound clip or vid for this 2011-2012 axel back?

I try to make a video at idle and rev with a GO PRO camera, an iphone and a Digital camera but the sound was very bad (distortion).

The Go Pro inside the cabin is OK.

I will try with another video camera next sunday.

Can anyone tell me for a 2010, what would the current muffler listed under FRPP that was equivalent to what was installed as OEM on the KR's? Would that be the M-5230-SA? Thanks in advance.

Yes the M-5230-SA are the 2010 version of the KR's. I have a set on my 2010 and they are amazing, no drone at all and almost stock sound at normal driving. But once you hit the skinny pedal the whole world changes and you think your on a nascar track. You will not be disapointed.

I like the sound of my gt500 when it is cold thinking of building in a refrigerator so i can drive the car cold all the time ;)

After a few minutes the sound goes quiter whitch is a pitty have the same problem with the gt42

I really like the cold idle of those cars the dealer advises me not to change the exhaust as it will be annoying on the highway he says

Flo i am in paris next week don't you plan to come with your car over to Paris by accident?

You tube - search 2011 or 2012 Shelby Borla S type. (same muffler as FRPP version) but more examples exist.

Yea that was the first thing I did, but it seems to all be cat-back exhaust vs just axle back on youtube. If anyone has a clip of this axle back or something similar, please post it up. Thanks
