07SS330
I have for sale a 2007-2009 GT500 Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser Cover manufactured by Raceskinz. I see the classified section has been removed from the forum so I thought I would just post this as a topic. This cover will finalize the Caborn fiber treatment used on all Super Snakes such as the Front Splitter and Rocker Panels. Raceskinz sells this part for $ 860.00 plus shipping. Max Cruise
Yeah! This should go to the GT500 section,no?
07SS330
Yeah! This should go to the GT500 section,no? GT500's have plastic front splitter and plastic rocker panels just like the plastic Rear Diffuser. SuperSnakes are upfitted with Carbon Fiber Front Splitter, Carbon Fiber Rocker Panels and Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers. The Rear Diffuser is left Plastic because it is part of the Rear Bumper and not a separate part. This Cover will complete the Carbon Fiber Treatment for your SuperSnake. It could also work on a standard GT500 that may have the other pieces replaced or upgraded by the owner. To answer the question asked by Poisnus, I would like to get $ 700.00 plus shipping, or Best Offer. Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I have been working at the Charlotte Motor Speedway the past 3 days for the Nascar Races. 12 hour days, no time for the computer! Still...these things doesn't make it a SuperSnake. It'll remain just a GT500 for the rest of its life, until it is officially documented as a SS.So,by the rules this should go to the GT500 forum, but if you guys still insist on discussing it here... Since the Super Snake (and KR for that matter) have CF installed on the lower front and sides of the car during the SS and KR conversions this is the perfect piece to finish/complete the CF look on those specific cars. This CF rear bumper add completes the lower CF started by SA. Raceskinz also offers a pair of CF mudflaps for this rear diffuser to fully complete the lower CF treatment. I have this Raceskinz CF rear diffuser and the CF mudflaps but as with some of my other "planned projects" time has gotten away and the parts are still "in the boxes". If I remember correctly Raceskinz is who did the original CF splitter and rockers for the Super Snake. <<If this is correct, that would be the vendor to buy lower CF pieces from for the best weave and finish match to what was originally installed by SA. We have discussed these Raceskinz CF items multiple times on this forum................... Here is a link to the original discussion when these CF rear diffusers were offered "pre-production" to Super Snake and KR owners. Post #16...........Scott Centra, I talked to him back then, I think he is long gone now................. http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?/topic/42085-carbon-fiber-rear-diffuser-cover/ A later thread, when the CF mud flaps became available....................... http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?/topic/48375-carbon-fiber-rear-diffuser-cover-mud-flaps/page__p__805746__hl__%2Brear+%2Bdiffuser__fromsearch__1#entry805746 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^These Racskinz CF items are a nice finishing touch to the CF look started by SA during the SS and KR conversions. R agree. i have this installed on my SS and it looks great. Shelby should've done this as part of the SS conversion... doesnt make sense to install a CF front valence and rocker panels but leave the rear diffuser as factory black plastic IMO.
