Any Pics of Chrome CS56 on SGT?

Several TS members have graciously sent me photos of their SGTs and GT 500s with some examples of the rims that I have been considering over the past few weeks (THANKS!!)

.

I'm still trying to figure out what rims I will really be happy with after enjoying the stock rims so much, so here is my latest request....

Does anyone have pictures of the CS56 rims in Chrome on their SGT?

I'm looking at going with the 18's for the 9.5 wide for some decent width tires. My long range plan is to go for the Brembo brakes on front, then add the SC package from Shelby over the next 12 months or so. If anyone has some pics they could post for me or email to me, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Just FYI, high on my list (still) are the Chrome CS40 and Black CS69s....this is about the hardest mod decision I've struggled with. The brakes you hardly see, the SC....well, the competition only sees the taillights, but the wheels will either make or break the looks of the car for its owner (in the owner's eyes obviously).

I've also looked at the Razors, but Chrome is no longer available and might be a little too much Chrome for me. I looked at the Silver Razors, and struggle there as I once had some silver polished alloy rims on another vehicle that I actually downgraded to from the chrome Ford factory chrome rims and later had buyers remorse over the decision. Money is tight, so I have to pick wisely the first time through...thus all the multiple requests for pics from TS members (sorry)!

Thanks in advance!!

Andy.

Stilll asking for opinions.....? :hammer_self:

Yes....still asking for pictures.

Two problems...1) I have not seen any of these in real life, only in pictures, and 2) I can't make up my mind.

I'm getting anxious to pull the trigger on something in the next month or so. I wish I could just go to a local car show or something where there are 20 or so GT500s or SGTs to see in person.

Then I'd be done in about 60 seconds!! There was one here in Atlanta about 6 weeks ago, but I was away with the wife on a Wedding Anniversary weekend - don't think it would have gone over very well if I would have ditched her for the car show! :slapfight:

With 4 kids in private school, my Mod budget is extremely tight so I only get one shot at the upgrade since I spend enough money each year at their school to purchase a new GT500 in cash...each year! Too bad public schools in Atlanta really stink!

So, I'll analyze this to death until I'm 100% positive...I'm betting you'd vote for the CS40s since that's what you had on your Black SGT, correct?

No actually I'd go 20" Alcoa's! The CS40's are nice but in the end I should have went with the Alcoa's you just can't beat the look, the cars they are on and the performance they give you...oh and branded Shelby /Alcoa is agood too! That being said, $2K will not make you or break you if i am reading you correctly, so pull the trigger and you heard it from a guy who has 20" CS40's........ALCOA and never look back.

I hear you on the Alcoas, but I thought they were being phased out of production now....what about the potential for a replacement when a curb "reaches out and grabs one"....you know they do that sometimes!! :banghead:

Would you grab a set now or wait to see what the rumored replacement is? And, yes, Affordability is an issue, so tires and rims would probably be along the lines of $3500 and then brakes (FRP/Brembo kit up front) would add another $1500, so looks like a $5k upgrade if I'm not off somewhere. Would love to pick up a set of Brembos from GT500 take off parts from SAI. I was hoping to keep the price down to around 2K (ish) for rims and tires....might be unrealistic expectation...

I want to start saving and planning for the SC conversion...again, have to push aside $$ for the big tuition bill first before I get Mod money. The SC conversion may take a while to save up for, and I'm worried that SAI may close the door on that down the road.

Thoughts?? Suggestions??

Anyone got picks of 20" Alcoas on a Vista Blue SGT or GT500...preference would be 18" but we all know the story there!! Maybe that is the excuse I use with my wife to purchase a KR...."Sorry dear, I ordered a set of 18" Alcoas but they came with a few spare car parts -- and no, I didnt get an invoice either!!" Wishful thinking.

Sorry Andy but you remind me of my wife who can't make up her mind and so she window shops everyday for a year and then buys something totally different than she was looking for and me and everyone of her other friends have wasted tons of time trying to help her! :hysterical:

I thought that is what friends are for!!

In reality, I'm very demanding and have high expectations of things. So my problem is that it is hard to make a decision when I cannot physically see what I'm wanting to see...no real "windows" to shop in, if you know what I mean. Hense the reason for all these requests for pictures and suggestions....I'm trying to make a $3,000+ decision without seeing the real tangible product.

For someone with super high standards that is actually super hard to do.

By the way, I bet your wife is a really great person!!

Thanks for your help.

Andy.
