IPad and Team Shelby

Recommended Posts

Anyone with a IPad WiFi have any ideas why I can't post on Team Shelby? I thought I was able too when I first got the Pad. I have tried switching between "board and mobile". The IPad is the first Apple product for me. It's a great toy, just ask my wife!

You can't see or access the text field? If you can answer that, I might be able to help.

BTW...I'm responding from my iPad.

That is the same problem mine has.

However...it does work on Face Book !

Grabber you mentioned an app. Maybe you have something there. I can post on Facebook and other sites. I have the extended warranty I will call and ask. My IPad is the first and not IPad2. Does that make a diffence? :headscratch:

I can post just fine on other Mustang sites with my Ipad 2. It's just TS that will not let it happen.

if you are using an app from the app store try safari instead.

My iPhone has issues when I use the app store app that is recommended when you go to TS but it works fine using safari.

Called Apple care today annd got nowhere with the Apple Genius. She told me because mine is a WiFi and 16Gb that won't allow me to post. I didn't want to tell her that I am able to post on other forums, I think that would have really cornfused her. So tomorrow I'll head off to the Apple store :shift: and ask one of those genius's. Plus the weather is REALLY nice so I'll take the GT-Hhappy%20feet.gif

My other thought was how many of you that replied and can post have the 16Gb and WiFi. I can't think that memory and 3G have something to make a difference. And can't wait for the new OS 5.

I'm not having any difficulties posting from my iPhone or iPad--using Safari on both. I'll review my device settings...maybe I've got something tweaked--but doubt it.

Can individuals change the site settings--perhaps some personal preference is not correctly configured?

Posted from iPhone. My last was posted from my iPad.

I think I have solved the problem "posting on TS with IPad".

Open your "settings" on your IPad. In General Settings uncheck "enable visual (RTE) editor".

I hope this works for everyone it did for me.

My son is real good on computers and he can't find the settings you mention either.

RTE settings are in your Team Shelby member settings. I can't post from iPad/Phone w/ RTE turned on. I've tried going both ways while posting to this thread.

BTW...I couldn't find any RTE setting on either device.

Bottom line, trying turning off RTE in your account settings.

Thanks blackout for a better explanation. After reading what I said I saw my bad. Now the question is how and when did these settings change. Are these changes made when you update the OS on the IPad? Like I said earlier can't wait for the next OS.
