cleghornm
Waht is the standard ride height for a Super Snake from the factory. Ground to center of the wheel well front and back. My car has the Eibach suspension and is lowered, just want to know if I have to rasie the ride height to fit a 325/30 or 335/30 tire. If I have to rasie it what would be the height. Thanks For All The Help Mike
Robert M
Waht is the standard ride heiht for a Super Sanke from the factory. Ground to center of the wheel well front and back. Thanks For All The Help Mike Mike - The Eibach ride height on my car had not been changed in either of the two pictures below. I do not have the exact inches handy to quote, but at the SA adjusted ride height, the tires worked fine. I have since lowered my car slightly in the front. 335/30 on the rear with 12" and 275/35 on the front with 9". Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's. If I remember correctly, the 335/30's were .5" ( or maybe slightly more) taller than the original rear 275/35 Pirelli P Zero's. ^^^^^^^^^Point to consider in the picture above. If the rim is narrower, the sidewall bulge with stick out further because the tire will bulge more. If a 11.5" Alcoa rim were used, with these same 335/30 tires, the bulge would be 1/4" more on the outside. To some, this would be viewed as the "too fat" look. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 325/30 on rear with 12" and 275/35 on the front with 10". Tires are Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT's. These rear 325/30 tires are the same 27.7" height as the original rear 275/35 Pirelli P Zero's. **Notice that the first picture is a 9" Alcoa on the front and the second picture a 10", both with 275/35 size tires installed, but different brands. I have not removed the bumpstop brackets or cut anything on my car. I did have to remove the rear shock boot which was simple and can be re-installed in the future.
