Hey Gang! I'm back in the USA! So I am loading up the Shelby GT and heading to So. Cal (Orange County) to suprise my family. They have no idea I am going to be arriving at my Grandmas B-day / family reunion in Tustin. The last time I made this trip was in 2009 when I returned from OIF/OEF and my Dad and I, along with Ms. Magoo (My Pug) drove to California. I was sort of keeping a running blog on my travels each day on the TS forums back then. I may do it again. On the late afternoon/eveing of the 19th I should be arriving at Nellis AFB (Lodging). I plan to do the Shelby tour (I never done it.) and then go to my favorite fast food joint, In -n-out burger. I would like to hook up with anyone who will be around on Thursday 20th October and talk about Shelby Mustangs, etc... JASPONY, I expect you will be at BWW! LOL! This time I will have my "Pony" and not some Govt. mini van. If by any chance any O.C.folks going to be in the area of the Hilton Resort in Hunington Beach around the 21st - 23rd October I know of a pretty good Mexican joint in Costa Mesa called Taco Mesa. Unless someone knows of a real good place to eat Im open for it. MIKESDREAM, The first round is on me bro. -FB

Anthony,

Welcome home, I was wondering where you disappeared too! Have a safe journey bud....

Will you be stationed out of Pope Field after your vacation? If yes, look me up when you get back to NC.

Look forward to reading you're 'blog'.

Welcome home and thanks for your service. My future son-in-law returned from Iraq in February. It was good to have him home too. Stop by Iowa City on the way if you'd like to meet the guy that bought your Shelby brakes.

Dave
