They really do change the driving experience for me. The only question in my mind is whether they will hold up better than the cheap Ford leather that goes on the standard seats. You can see wrinkles and lines in the driver seat of my KR and it only has 1000 miles on it. I know it comes from getting in and out of the car, but the standard Ford leather just doesn't hold up well. The Recaros have even more "friction" when getting in and out because of the stiff and high sides on the seat bottom, so I expect that it will take more wear.
