lol... I was trading in my F350 over the weekend and I had enquired about trading in 2 cars... it actually worked out very well for me... on 2 levels, I own the Shelby outright, so they wrote me a check for that separate for $51.5 and I also benefitted from the Shelby's sales tax trade-in allowance towards my new car "along w/ my F350". If I waited another year to sell my Shelby, I would take $5k+ off that figure and the aggravation of trying to sell it or trade it in. These cars suck in resale values... but fun to drive! I may even wait for a used 13 with low miles on it before I take the plunge again. Plus, here in the NE, it sits in the garage a lot now that the cold weather is on its way.

I do look forward to my next one, in the meantime I have other toys to keep me busy! :)

Man if I had the cash to sport three different GT500s in as many years I'd have bought a Ford GT instead and called it a night!

You're referring to a $225k-/+ car to a $55k car? I guess if I had that type of money to spend on 1 car, I would own one too along with a Shelby!

I am thinking about doing the same thing and you are right the resale on these cars is not good. My truck does better LOL but they are cheap and fun to drive for what you get! I buy the car on X Plan so that helps but if you shop around most dealers will do that or very close to it around here. Cannot wait for the 2013 because it will be a ZL1 killer!!!

Now is the time to do it! Looking forward to my next Shelby, they are fun cars!

LOL, did you leave the seats in the car when you traded it in? The dealer must be an idiot. No way would I buy a car without the owners manual, floor mats, lug nut locks (they might not realize those came with it).

If it was'nt bolted down, it came w/ me! lol...

I kind of was thinking the same thing. Not really fair to the eventual buyer of the car.

If I was selling it to a private party, this would'nt be the case and everthing would have gone to the new buyer... BUT... fair never comes into play when you deal w/ the dealer... otherwise I would have got more for my trade! ;)

What does that exhaust sound like compared to the stock '11 GT500 exhaust? I am looking for louder! Thanks.
