adidasUNT8
Hey Guys... I found a pretty nice shift knob that I was wanting to get, but it's only available 12mm x 1.75. Our stock shifters are 12mm x 1.25, which is a fine thread. is there an adapter or replacement little shift arm that we can get for our stock shifters to use an aftermarket knob like this?? Absolutely. Call Chris at Speed Dawg and he will advise you and take care of you. There are other places that stock the adapters too but Speed Dawg is awesome. You might even want to purchase one of his shift knobs. Lots of great selections. https://speeddawg.com/ https://speeddawg.com/shift-knob-adapters/metric-shift-knob-adapter-kit-

I have decided to just spend the extra money and get the MGW short-throw, which I've heard many good things about. I appreciate you replying though! I have the Black / Red also and have been looking for something color specific. Can you post a link too?

Can you post a link too? MGW's are great shifters. Great choice. MGW also has shift knobs, however, I'll say this again. Check out: https://speeddawg.com/ You won't be sorry. Check out this great pict of the Real Fire on my Grabber Orange GT.

Well the link does show the exact one... it's black with grey... but I chose the Black with Red and the snake on the side... I'll post pics when I get it on there! http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang_rally_series_shift_balls.shtml
Amigo GT500
What is the thread in 2012? I can't find any information about the correct thread!! Thanks
Kris13
I have a 2012 Shelby gt500. I have been advised and also verified on the speeddawg web site the thread is 10 x 1.25. I found nice shift knobs on the speeddawg web site and sickspeed. I ordered a black and grey pearl shift knob from sickspeed. I'll post a pic when it comes in if I can ever get the factory knob off!
