mywickedshelby
Thanks Bill......10 inches of rain...but thankfully we were spaired of any flooding or trees down on the property or at the house. Seemingly everyone around us was not so lucky........bad flooding everywhere with the local rivers cresting 20 ft above flood stage on Wednesday! ilmor
All fine here. There is local flooding which is making it more difficult to get where needed to go on the roads. Also many are w/out power, as were we for about 8 hours on Sunday night. Fortunately for many, Irene was not anywhere near as bad as the news media was portraying it to be. Doug_GT350
The power is still off here and it's starting to get old. We lost power at 2:30 PM Sunday and it still is off! $15.00 a day to run a generator to keep the refrigerators, freezers and sump pump running. I don't think I'll bitch about a $300.00 electric bill again.

Seabee
power went off at approx 0830 Sunday morning. Still don't have it. Big Willow tree came down in the parking lot at the condo complex, Board presidents car was under it... Areas here in CT are hearing Maybe Satuday, or Tuesday/Wednesday next week. Lot of trees down. Some great videos out there. This is near a good friend house, they are actually on a point out in the bay to the left of the carmera in the begining. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoISscV6aSY A friend has a condo on the access road at Killington, VT - uses it manly in the winter. K-1 Base lodge (or KBL) about 1/3 gone. All the roads in or out impassable. check out the pictures on this site: http://www.kevinbroderick.com/othergallery/main.php?g2_itemId=50622 Friends up there are calling it the Island of Killington.... Its a mess. I'll take just the power being out...
