Secondo
Waiting for the storm, it should be here in CT tomorrow early. Might lose power for a while because of so many old trees near the power lines. SS & I will be safe, we're in a new, strong, house. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We hope all our Shelby brothers and sisters near the east coast are safe.

tekheavy
No power here. Lots of trees down. But I guess it could have been a lot worse.
Sherri Leicht
Loss of power is inevitable in a hurricane. Makes you really appreciate life as you know it :-) Happy you all came thru pretty much unscathed.
FiaCobra
Made it through the storm ok. Some damage to the shed and fence from a downed tree but that's it. Shelby is safe.

CobraCrazy
A tornado hit my town a few years ago so I know what it's like not to have power, etc. I'm glad damage seems relatively light, no one hurt, etc. Hoping and praying things get back to normal for all of you soon! CobraCrazy
Thanks, Prof. I'm okay - but lots of folks in the area are facing a difficult time. I was wondering how you are doing? Glad to hear you are OK--sounds pretty bad, including New England--so sorry to hear the death toll climb. Again hoping everything gets back to normal as soon as possible!
