I myself have a 2008 Shelby GT but I believe that it is the same spacing. The spacing between all letters on this template is 2 5/8" - except for the spacing between the "E" and "L". That spacing is 2 3/4". Maybe just a tolerance issue in the making of the template but I was just giving you the exact dimensions that I have. You might as well go with 2 5/8" for all. As a interesting side-note. I just got my Shelby back from my local FORD dealership after having some stripes replaced including the stripes on the trunk lid. I noticed after taking a picture of the back end of my SGT and then looking at the picture on my laptop - that they placed the letters back on the trunk lid with uneven spacing! There is this longer gap between the "E" and the "L" and I am talking much longer than 2 3/4" (see picture). I bought this template to actually put chromed SHELBY letters on my black mesh Terlinqua style grille but I suppose I can use it again on the trunk. I just pulled the template off of the grille and stuck it back on it's special backing paper. So it is reusable. But I must admit it isn't really bothering me so I don't know if I want the hassle of pulling them all off and redoing. What do you think based upon my photo? I've tried to go with straight across the hood and with the front contour of the hood.I was trying to get different ideas.I think I will go with the front contour of the hood. Stuck On You Graphics Also, after I revisited John's website I realized that he does make a separate template for both the Shelby GT and the GT500.
