Topless96 Posted August 19, 2011 Report Share Posted August 19, 2011 With Labor Day just around the corner it is time for me to get the word out about the 7th Annual SVTOA Fall Cruise in the Dells on October 7th-9th! :happy feet: Over the years Wisconsin Dells has become a destination for many Ford enthusiast from across Wisconsin, Minnesota,and Illinois and a way to enjoy their cars one last time before putting them away for the upcoming winter weather This year we again will be at the beautiful Chula Vista Resort with reduced room rates for those participating. A block of rooms has been set aside and rates reduced until September 7th so call today. 888-318-2243 and give them booking number A37482 . Three room types are available-Tower Suites$105, Condo JR Suite$155, and 2BD Condos$205 per night. These prices include passes to the huge indoor water park so bring the family We also have our own reserved parking lot so all cars can be together for the duration of the weekend :angel: For those arriving early an informal get together will take place Friday evening (Possibly SVTOA & Shelby Bingo for prizes)? Saturday morning will begin with sign in (7:30am) - like last year we will be asking for a $10 donation/adult with all proceeds to benefit the fight against breast cancer. This also gets you 18 holes of mini golf at the Famous Pirates Cove Golf Course in the Dells :bandance: We will line up for Cruise at 9:30am with departure set to go at 10:00am. The cruise will take us through the scenic Dells area for about a 2 hour ride with a scheduled break along the way (potty time We will return around noon and will not be scheduled to get together as a group until 2:00pm for mini golf at Pirates Cove for those interested Everyone then are on their own until the evening banquet which begins at 6:00pm. the room will open at 5:30 and Dinner will be offered starting at 6:00 (on your own). Following Dinner our guest Kenny Brown will take the floor to offer his experiences with racing and Mustangs. Following Kenny we will take a brief 15 minute break for a last chance to purchase raffle tickets prior to the prize and award presentation :beerchug: This year many great prizes will be offered from signed Carroll Shelby merchandise to Badger football tickets.
