07SGT5687
Hey Baer Big Brakes owners! I found a decent track wheel that will fit over our Baer Big 6S brakes!! Actually I found an even better deal than I was expecting... Used on Craiglist: 18" x 8.5" TSW Nurburgring w/Mirror finish - $300 DELIVERED from Washington state Nitto NT-01's... 2 sets... about half used... $200 That's $500 for a set of track wheels that don't look half bad... AND WEIGH 19 lbs. each... and 2 sets of NT-01 that will probably get me though this and next season! So that said, here are some photos of the fitment, so you can see that they clear the big brakes. This was my primary concern as even TSW would not confirm if they would fit or not (nor were they interested in helping find out). BTW, I believe they are a 45mm offset. Should tuck behind the fender just nicely.
MY500SS
Looks great..............................are the balance weights going to be a problem?
07SGT5687
Looks great..............................are the balance weights going to be a problem? :eek5: No it should be okay. Those are pretty hefty weights and think they are partially because of the TMPS sensors that were once strapped on them. I won't be running them so I should be able to get away with the slimmer weights. I had about 1/2" of space. Hopefully it will be okay, but I'm pretty sure it'll work. I've seen tighter fits. I'm just glad it worked! And I'll have a set of sticky tires and beat-em-up wheels for HPR in 2 weeks! Look out boys... I would have preferred to get the Matte Black Nurburgrings, but for $300... TOTAL? I couldn't pass em up. They go for damn near that much for ONE WHEEL!
vapor08GT500
I did a post on these over a year ago. I ended up putting the mirror with black accent 20X9.5 front and 20X10.5 rear, but also have used the 18"s on track cars. If anyone os interested in my set with tires, I am selling them. Alex Where were you when I posted this thread?! For the sake of conversation, what size and price are your 18's? And what condition and brand are the tires? Works great when running the stock GT500 wheels.

NordicShelby
Aren't those the wheels that they were putting on the SR's?
07SGT5687
Aren't those the wheels that they were putting on the SR's? I could be wrong, but I think they are very close, but not the same. These are almost completely flat around the rim and then dip in at the center cap. The SR one's kind of angled out as they came to center and the ducked back in at the center cap/lugs. The SR's reminded me to the GT4's from American Muscle, if I remember right.
