BLUE 2010 SHELBY GT 500
i have a tru-carbon rear valance, i had someone install it for me , i would not do it again , the carbon valance is very stiff compared to the stock valance ,that why it is a little difficult to make it fit , with a little bit of time you can make it almost fit correct , it looks great on the car , i also have the front splitter which was a very simple install if you have any question , just post back or contact me at jpmarchini@aol.com

BLUE 2010 SHELBY GT 500
THANKS FOR THE REPLY ,I INSTALLED IT LAST NIGHT ,HAD TO REMOVE THE INNER BUMPER FOAM AND ALSO THE BOTTOM MIDDLE HOLDER BY THE EMISSION COMPONENTS LOOK NICE BUT STILL HAVE SOME FIT ISSUES WHERE IT MEETS THE REAR QUARTERS yes i had the same problem with where the bumper and quater panel meet , i think the carbon peice is so stiff it pull down on the bumper panel , i installed my in the dead of winter so the carbon was really stiff ,as the weather got warmer i kind of played with the hardware that holds it in place , i got it to where only i can notice about 1/16 of a gap where the bumper and quater meet the picture in my post does not have the carbon on in the picture

pucky
thanks for the reply ,did you also have to remove the bottom middle bracket and the foam bumper insert . also if this is supposed to be factory fit as the manufacturer states you would think it would be direct fit ,a little disappointing to say the least . thanks again paul
BLUE 2010 SHELBY GT 500
thanks for the reply ,did you also have to remove the bottom middle bracket and the foam bumper insert . also if this is supposed to be factory fit as the manufacturer states you would think it would be direct fit ,a little disappointing to say the least . thanks again paul paul i don't remember my installer removing any of the foam or any bracket , all we did to remove the stock valance was cut the wiring clips that where in the center of the bumper as far as these aftermarket parts and the companys that make them , its hit or miss imo some fit great some do not ,so far tru carbon parts are pretty close, like i said in the last post the only problem i had was where the quarter and bumper meet ,right above the marker light is where the was a slight gap but much better now ,is that where you are having the problem ? if you need to talk to me e-mail at jpmarchini@aol.com i will give you my cell so you can call me johnny

pucky
JUST WANTED TO MAKE EVERYBODY AWARE THIS IS NOT A DIRECT FIT PART AS STATED BY TRUFIBER IT TAKES MANY HOURS OF TWEEKING AND YES MODIFYING TO MAKE THIS FIT PERFECT .FOR EXAMPLE THE INNER BUMPER SUPPORT HAS TO BE SHAVED DOWN TO FIT IT OVER, AND YOU WILL NEVER GET THE BODY LINE BACK TO ORIGINAL
32V-SVT
I had mine installed professionally... The shop commented that the original part flexes more and maintains the body alignment at the seams better due to being slightly more pliable. To this, you can see a very slight bowing where the carbon fiber piece and the rear bumper cover meet at the sides. There was no mention of the part missing any attach points, or not being able to use the OEM fasteners, so I would think for those who do this all the time, it's not a big deal... TruFiber / TruCarbon make quallity products in my book. I have the entire car outfitted with only their items, and everyone who has seen the parts wants a set of their own. It's win/win in my opinion...
Mulanzo
This entire thread is a lie. There is no photo documentation of anything being said here and therefore such carbon fiber parts do not exist nor do they fit on the car. I'm calling ALL of you out on your bull$h!t. *prove me wrong, please*

BLUE 2010 SHELBY GT 500
This entire thread is a lie. There is no photo documentation of anything being said here and therefore such carbon fiber parts do not exist nor do they fit on the car. I'm calling ALL of you out on your bull$h!t. mulanzo, the parts do EXIST , if you need proof of the parts just go to tru-carbon web-site and the parts are there for sale , as far as the fit and pictures i will try to get them posted as soon as our storm here in the east passes ,iam a fan of tru-carbons products ,which are imo quailty parts BUT as good as some of these manufactures are some parts just do not fit as perfect as oem products , so the fit and installation might need some work , so that said i will post pictures as soon as possible *prove me wrong, please*
