jcunnin
Has anyone found out how to install a backup camera on a 2010 Navigation system in a GT500? I would like to add the camera feature but am unsure if it is even possible.
Chitownstangguy
I don't know how but I'm interested in doing the same with my 2012. Not sure if there's a difference between the 2010 and 2012. Like I'm interested.

IA Shelby
It is possible but appears to be a significant PITA to do. Thread exists on Ford GT500 forum about this install. Pictures and instructions included.
ROSSA
Has anyone found out how to install a backup camera on a 2010 Navigation system in a GT500? I would like to add the camera feature but am unsure if it is even possible. You might Google "Kenwood eXcelon," and look at CMOS-300. I beleive this can be connected to most navigation screens. The Kenwood website has an installation manual that you can look at.

bikenfly
I have a 2011 Shelby GT500 with factory navigation. I'm looking for a OEM looking backup camera to install and integrate with factory NAV. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this system? http://www.emeraldintegrations.com/ford-mustang-oem-rear-view-backup-camera-system.html Thanks! gotoatz
You can get the lockpick unit much cheaper, and the cost of the camera would be much less than the over price being advertised. Just a thought. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lock-Pick-SYNC-FIM-Override-Kit-for-Select-09-13-Ford-Lincoln-Mercury-w-HD-Nav-/361150218370?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item54163b0082
cbrbear
there is a rearview mirror/backup camera as well. Personally I get annoyed looking down at having to rely only on the navigation screen.
