Fell down to my knees and had a little cry. 12 miles......... boy that owner has sure missed out on some fun driving this baby. It's hard to tell but is this number 488 or 498. Anybody know? SGT-C0056
I would say its # 498. Just because from what i have seen, almost all of the manuals I have seen for sale were at the end of the run. Just because from what i have seen, almost all of the manuals I have seen for sale were at the end of the run. By the way, i have never heard of a Shelby GT-H 500 Yes the manual transmission cars were built at the end of the run and have high CSM numbers. Besides the GT500 mistake the seller is using at least one pic showing a different GTH vert from another ebay seller. Although the auction appears to be 100% legit its just something to keep in mind along with the seller opening a brand new ebay account to sell this car. If the seller can get $105k, I say great as that can only help all Shelby values. Steve

Steve There is the big if in there....last one the guy was thinking 85k but not sure what happened to that car, the seller and I although we talked realy was not someone I could communicate with very well...I would love one of these they are cool.... But real hard to place a good value on them however, anybody know what they think they are worth...I thought 85 was kinda high...the 105 seems real high as you are creeping into some serious hardware at 105....but I agree more power to him... The picture issue is valid and should be addressed via the "ask seller a question" Question "is this a picture of the actual car ?" $105,000 is not out of line, if the car is in fact as stated, given the new car mileage, but then again the market will dictate. Rare is rare so what it's worth is what your willing to pay. regards, Larry
hertzmustang2007
I would be the seller of this particular GT-H on Ebay. Just wanted to address some concerns to you enthusiasts. It is first off #498 sold to my father a hertz executive. I would invite any and all to assist in price quoting this vehicle for today's market but given the NADA, Barrett Jackson, Dupont Registry and many other reputable big name collector car marketing websites are unable to price this rare of a find I would ask that others put into perspective such facts. To address a few previous questions the main gallery photo is in fact a photo of another hertz Shelby convertible that went for sale not too long ago. I used this photo in order to accurately portray the vehicle because as seen our Shelby GTH's are in storage, on blocks. Thus taking high quality visually esthetic pictures is not as easy as you may think. I would be happy to let you all know the final selling price of both the Convertible with 12miles and the Coupe with 1036miles as food for thought to reflect today's market. I appreciate however the criticism and review of this rare find Shelby GTH and if any here have information that would help in the sale of this particular GTH I would appreciate it. Thank you -Cameron

Thank you -Cameron Cameron, Quicksilvershelby is a good guy to talk to, he has a 2007 GT-H Convertible manual, it is 1 of the 17 like yours, is the 2006 GT-H coupe a stick as well??? It is not, the Coupe is #408 and it is an Automatic. And that would be fantastic, I have called around to various car collectors and or companies around the US and literally no reputable company can give an honest market value. The closest thing I came to a ballpark was a '07 Automatic Convert w/ 67 miles on it used as a Hertz Showroom car at their corporate office selling for 70k at a Barrett Jackson auction. (Upon looking for the records it must of been in 2009-2010 confirmed over the phone not on website.)

hertzmustang2007
From Hemmings: 2007 GT-H #497 With an asking price of $67,500... Yes I have seen this ad. While as someone already posted it is worth what the market decides. In my research I would have to comment that whoever snags that vehicle at that price is getting a hell of a deal. Through my contacts within hertz Corp I can tell you that execs selling their gth manuals with low mileage are making a significant amount more than 67k. With research in past sales from Barrett jackson alone an automatic with under 100 miles sold for 70k. I do appreciate the response however, I just don't plan on dropping the price in order to sell this rare find quickely for a quick buck. If any are interested feel free to message me to discuss asking prices. (no the actual asking price is not 105k) Thank you Cameron Ps. Took more pictures of the vehicles today will email on request. JeffJ
While I certainly wish you the best, the one for sale for $67.5 has been for sale for quite while. That is close to the area that I've seen a few of these sell. Seems to be what the market is bringing right now. Good luck on your sale. Very awsome nice car! SGT-C0056
Cameron, Nice that you came on this site. I have seen some GT-H manual sell or advertized at around $55 to $65K, but oviously they did not have 12 miles on them!, so you have a real value and would imagine you could get top money (not $100K money)...yet If I had the funds and was rich enough, i would buy, but I just sold my other Shelby, so cant do. let us know what they sell for. I didnt see the coupe listed? is it on ebay also? Louis

erikbuckland
is ti worth $100K, you bet, but in time. History is all over the map with these on Barrett Jackson as you can see with the first one selling for $250,000, and a recent convertible (mileage unstated) selling for a paltry $36,000. I paid $47k for my convertible and some will say that is too much, but I feel like a am driving a $90,000 car in my town that is full of high end mercedes, BMW, and where the GT-H is like a very cute but still bastard child. Everyone likes to look, some even touch and gawk, but still some turn up their nose. Definitely a collector vehicle, and I am anxious to see the final price. Here is the link to the Barrett Jackson History on these cars. IIf my current car catches on fire I would be highest bidder on this car for my replacement. I will envy, but still glad to be in the club, of the winning bidder. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/archivecarlist.aspx
erikbuckland
$180,000 is the price of an original from 1966, and they probably do not have all the parts it was rented with thanks to some things "falling off" when they were rented! http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=752.1&aid=53&pop=

SGT-C0056
You cant go off the sale price at the barrett jackson auction of $250,000. these first cars that go to auction are for charity, carroll is ussualy there and the rich guys dont mind spending the money due to tax benefits. In the real world, a low milage manual GT-H, would sell somewhere between $55-75K. I would rather buy two (2) automatic GT-H with 35,000 miles on them for $60-70K
hertzmustang2007
Hello all, after re-assessing the market and compiling more information I have decided to mark down the price of the convertible with 12 Miles to what I believe and what I know many of you will agree is a fair asking price. I will reply with my finished ad URL so you all may watch and/or bid if interested. I would like to point out that my previous estimates of the car values were based off knowledge of Barrett Jackson sales and other resources, however some of these numbers were skewed and information was left out, that I was only made aware of as of recently. While rare and unique the convertible is not worth what I thought it was. I am posting it with a Buyout of $68,000 with a lower reserve. I would like to thank you all at Team Shelby in pushing me to continue my research in these fantastic cars and assisting in the pricing of our Shelby GT-H's Cameron Plus: Our coupe with 1036miles is still being sold on eBay!
