shelbymotorsports Posted July 23, 2011 Report Share Posted July 23, 2011 Look to be legit Shelby wheels from the 70's. The seller needs to measure the bolt pattern to see if they are a Ford bolt patern. After looking at the ebay pics I would not run these wheels on a car. Let me add to that thread by saying these wheels are not prototype wheels, that Shelby logo was used for many years. I even recall some of the center caps saying SS on them. These were heavily advertised in car magazines and I want to say even sold in the Sears or Montgomery Ward catalog. They were very popular on vans during the van craze of the 1970's. Exactly, those are cast, and a casting like that is not cheap...even in 1970's dollars... The Shelby Wheel Co, was started a very long time ago (1973 I think??) Correct me if i'm wrong...
