The six speed shifter disappeared from the Shelby store a short time back, but they still list the FRPP short throw. I can't find it at the moment but there was a thread here somewhere that said a new version would be out shortly. If one doesn't show up at Shelby or you need it sooner check out MGW. They are being made in conjunction with Drake. However, they delayed the release. I emailed Robert twice with no response. I asked him if they are being made in america or china and again no response. Probably and import so I am ordering the Mgw. I just wished they would be a little more honest. Wow, I'm very surprised to hear that because Roger S. said in a Super Snake related thread that all Super Snakes would be receiving MGW shifters in them. Then Robert said in another SPP thread that Shelby was getting a new Mfgr. for their shifters and I ASSUMED that it would be MGW since Roger said MGW was the shifter of choice for the SS. I hate to ASSUME again but it appears that Shelby and MGW could not strike or finalize a deal. That's too bad because MGW is *such* a nice piece of manufacturing work and works SO well. As for the Drake shifter, it was reported here on Team Shelby forums that the old ones were reportedly made in China. I can't speak for Drake or Shelby but unless Drake changed their business practice my guess would be that they will continue to be made in China. If you see a big price jump in the Drake shifter, that's a sign that they may have possibly changed from Chinese manufacturing to elsewhere, hopefully the USA.
