denohew
My brother just took delivery of # 68 2011 Super Snake. 800 HP. This car is f******n incredible. I had a Ford Gt and this car is definitely faster once off the line! Makes my stock '11 Shelby seem like a '70s Pinto! We hit the 160MPH limiter in an instant. Does anybody know how to take the top speed limiter off? I mean it had a lot more to go! Are the aerodynamics suitable past 160? Don't actually want to take flight! It is white with black stripes and I thought it would look like s*** but it does not. Anyway I am still shaking on how fast it is! I was driving cuz he is not a speed kinna guy but he wanted the baddest Mustang and I believe he got it! He does have over $100,000 in it after his donor car but he does not care. I want one now! By the way it was only an 8 week turnaround. Damn impressive. Love the supercharger whine! Will post pics as soon as I get my camera. Regards, denohew
MY500SS
Welcome and congrats to your brother...............these are amazing machines. The speed limiter can be removed with a tuner. Send Van (Revan Racing) a PM.......I'm sure he can help. Looking forward to those pics.
roush1486
Here is a vid of #66 I picked up last week, 900hp. I believe your brothers car was being picked up the same day I was there.
Burning Blue Star IV
Congrats to you and your brother denohew! I'm extremely jealous! If I had the extra throwaway cash..I would supersnake mine as well. Unfortunately, I'm no where near that well off in the money department and never will be. I can't imagine how awesome the car is driving and in person. Anxiously waiting for some pics.

John Strauss
Don't worry about the car taking flight, its very stable at the higher speeds. The newer Shelbys have even better airo then my 07 SS. I;ve been 192 in the texas mile no problem and up to 173 at Daytona. Sorry to say you won't be able to take off the speed limiter without a complete reflash. What I mean is you can't connect a tool and just change the limiter. Contact Van or Jon Lund these guys can help. Great Package you have good luck. John
ceswert
Thanks for the great vid! Welcome to SS land. It's a gas busting out on an on ramp and watching in your rear view mirror as fellow drivers quickly fade away. It's like...warp 5! Have a ton of fun! goldgus
That is one badass ride... My '10 Vert makes 580 at the rear wheels, and its PLENTY quick. Cant imagine what that Snake will do... Good luck with it and keep the shiny side up
