springer
Great link with some great comparisons between the cars. Kind of looks like what I thought, the best driver takes it all. While the Challenger takes the Mustang with horsepower and gear ratio, it loses these two advantages with the extra weight, which definitely makes a very interesting comparison. You have him in aggressive appearance and you do have the fastest color.

Burning Blue Star IV
Those challengers are beautiful cars - I think they're one of the most eye catching cars out there on the road. I always find myself staring at the them. No shame in one of them parking next to me anytime.

Dunedindon#5481
If the 60s and 70s were the Golden Age of the Muscle Car then this is definitely the Platinum Age of the Muscle Cars. How cool is it that there are Mustangs and Challengers and Camaros to own and yap about. All they keep on doing is pumping them up more and more with HPs and handling and everything that feeds our motor head desires. When I was shopping for the Shelby I entertained the idea of the Challenger and the Camaro. Both are great cars. I drove the new 392 Hemi, it was sweet, great motor and sound, the looks are fantastic, very retro and muscular, and it was a definite possibility. Then I drove a SS Camaro, again great motor and sound and it looks real good, couldn't get past the bunker interior but if that was all there was available I would have done it, no problem. Of course, the Shelby was the only real choice for me but how cool is it that there are even any of these cars out there. We can choose from any of them and they are pretty much in the reach of most folks. I mean how sweet is the new V6 Mustang and for that matter the V6 Camaro. Great picture a great time to be around for all the fun and excitement these cars provide.

You can already see that the V6 is what will be used to try to hold on to the glory days. So we better start to embrace the V6 Shelby GTS and others like it, because that is the future. They have to reach out to the younger folks who don't understand the big deal of a V8. All American cars have a problem appealing to the Y generation and they will be the ones with the money here in the not so distant future. I'll always have a V8, if I can, but the new motors are pretty dang impressive and are just going to keep getting better. My daughters boyfriend just picked up one of the 2012 V6 Mustangs with the Performance Package. It's a real looker and that thing gets up and goes. It's not the old V6 Mustang that's for sure. Much more refined and impressive. All in all, it's still good that they are covering all of the bases right now and we get to enjoy what they have to offer for however long they are available. I really almost bought the Challenger. That's one good looking car. Not as good looking as the Shelby's but pretty dang nice. Indeed.
K Beast Shelby gt
I beat 1 before the thing that helped me from getting smoked by all that Hp , was that I shifted as fast as I could and never look to see where the challenger was ! I didn't win by much though ..... But I won !
