2010KonaBlueGT
Its always out of stock... instead of using Moroso should have let Canton do it and it would probably be in stock I've got the Shelby 8-qt. oil pan on my GT500 right now. Before installing it, I looked it over pretty well, inside and out. Physically, it looks *nothing* like the Moroso oil pan at all, both from the inside and the outside. The *one* common item the Moroso pan and the Shelby pan have is the plug in the front of the pan for a Supercharger oil drain-back fitting. The Moroso pan does *not* have the provision in the side of the pan for a oil temp sender like the Canton does or the four trap-door baffles the Canton has. As for the Canton, the Shelby oil pan appears/looks VERY similar to the Canton pan and the description on the Canton site and the Shelby site are *almost* identical. The Canton does *not* have the front plug for a Supercharger oil drain-back line but it does have the bung for a oil temp sender on the opposite side of the oil drain plug. It also has the same "four trap door baffles" in it and a anti slosh gate (which is a combonation of the Canton RR and the DR oil pans combined). Physically, the Shelby pan appears (inside) *closer* to the Canton than to the Moroso. Much closer (but still not IDENTICAL). What it appears to me is, Shelby had Canton build a pan using features from all three pans...The Moroso pan and the two Canton pans. We've had a similar discussion in the past with the same disagreement (Canton vs. Moroso) and I'll stick to my opinion that CANTON makes the Shelby pan, not Moroso. Frankly, I do not KNOW who makes the pan but based on the physical charactoristics, it is much more similar to the Canton than to the Moroso. Does anyone from Shelby KNOW for sure? Well, does anyone at Shelby know, that can tell us without getting into trouble? Phill Pollard

firepro
It's made by Morose (or at least the one I got from Shelby in May was). Came with a sticker and all. Looks great and appears to be top quality. Now all I need to do is raise the engine or pull the front end off to install it. Sounds like a winter project. Probably a dumb question but thought I throw it out there.....
