Alberto
Hi to all, I'm writing to you from Germany - with less experience about the GT500 scene in the USA. But I've got a very special request: Can anybody tell me the biggest amount of GT500 you ever had at one of your gatherings in the past? You'd help me a lot with your answeres. Thanks and Regards, Albert from Augsburg, Munich Area (Germany)

Thanks and Regards, Albert from Augsburg, Munich Area (Germany) I assume you mean gatherings like car shows, meets, events, etc.? If so, there's a huge one going on right now and there was a recent Carlisle Shelby Reunion. Check out these links below and it will give you some idea of size and scope. If you mean this in terms of horsepower, that will vary widely. http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?/forum/245-mid-america-team-shelby-nationals-2011/ http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?/topic/64763-2011-carlisle-shelby-reunion/page__st__240
Alberto
Thanks indeed for your answere. Yes, I meant gatherings like you wrote down. I checked both links and several others as well, but couldn't find any number of amount. So I left a posting with my request on the mid-american-thread. Maybe the number of cars on one of your events is not that important in US like it is here in Europe as the SHELBY GT500 is extremely rare. You should know that I am the host and organizer of the biggest SHELBY GT500 gathering in Europe and we are interested very much into, how far the numbers of GT500 is more or less then on one of your events in the US. Just for any kind of comparison. Important is that we are talking about the SHELBY GT500 and Supersnakes from 07 - 12 only!!! No GT350, no Bullits, no Bosses, no historic cars as you will hardly find them anywhere in Europe. Can you help me to find out this? You'd do me a very big favour! Sorry for bothering you with my silly request, but for me it means a lot! Thanks indeed again! Albert

Alberto
Thank you! It's definetly the biggest SHELBY GT500 Gathering in Europe. We are expecting approximately 80 Cars. You can compare it to a gathering in the USA for Mercedes Benz 600 SL AMG only!!! So you might have an idea how much it takes to find 80 crazy guys with a GT500 in Europe! By statistics there are about 300 SHELBY GT500 in Germany, about 150 in Swizerland, just a few in Austria and Czech, almost non in the rest of Europe. It's a very small and exclusive scene here around this car. A GT500 is that rare that people on the street stop for watching and you can read from their lips "wow, a shelby...". If you drive with a porsche 911 here, nobody even does notice it. Regards, Albert
