CoopersShelby
The dealership I purchased my Shelby from quoted me $1,023 total for two rear wheels for my car. I would like to keep the stock look with some good rubber, but would also like to keep my stock rims and tires. Has anyone else purchased stock wheels, and what did you pay for them. Three Cobras
Coop - What was included? If it's just the rims, that's way wrong. Look in the FRPP catalogue, I seem to recall the rims were (folks, correct me if wrong) just under three beans each retail. Is the dealer quoting rims plus tires plus straps plus tire pressure senders? Find soomeone who will order FRPP stuff at a discount and you should be much better off than that. You'll still have shipping and balancing, etc. of course. Just seems way off to me.

That being said with the sensor and band etx added you are still bending over unless they are putting the rubber on those bad boys for you. I bought a replacement when i curbed my wheel a while back. I found it on e-bay but it was just a dealer ordering them though ford.

dlangvardt
What sensor and what strap? Just trying to get educated. There is a tire pressure sensor on the inside of the rim held in place by a strap that goes around the rim. without it, it will set of a warning light on the dash, warning about low tire pressure. for a replacement wheel check out Late Model Restoration Supply at WWW.50Resto.com or 1-866-507-3786. There are adds in 5.0 magizine and Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine. Price is $268.95. Tell them you want the Ford Racing '07 Shelby GT500 Wheel part #M1007S1895. The Ford dealer will have the sensor.
