BJ GT 2008 on ebay w/ Nav AND Satellite

Recommended Posts

One of the BJ GTs is on ebay, #200611610094

The curious thing about this to me is that it has both Nav AND Satellite.

I've got a 2008 GT with Nav, but have been told I can't get Satellite with it.

Anyone know of an aftermarket Satellite setup for the Nav system that will show the channels on the screen?

The satellite radio option, code 50S, was available on both Shaker radios and the NAV radio.

Out of the 100 B-J cars 94 of them had this satellite radio option.

(I am replacing stripes so the turtle is unplugged hence the no attenae on the screen)

Turtle laid on my trunk in position:

Same turtle installed on my 07 F-150's roof:

Maybe you could just get a 07 head unit form a crashed Mustang?

If the OP is just looking to add satellite radio he should be able to use his stock NAV radio. The satellite tuner module would need to be purchased and plugged into the NAV radio. He would also need the satellite radio antenna.

This was a nicely optioned BJ Car, sold for $38,805 new plus the Shelby BJ Limited Edition Package. I looked at the car on e-bay a fee minutes ago and it looks like it appears to have been taken good care of. I would love to have the NAV option on mine.

Picked up another CSM number for my list of 100 build sheets this one was 08SGT2264.

  • 4 weeks later...

I purchased that BJ SGT #08SGT2264 and it was a gem and the nav works fine. I have to subscribe to Sirrus to get that working but it is installed. My initials are GG also. The car looks a little bare without the Shelby rear spoiler so I may install one if I can find red stripes to match.

Wow must be a 2008 thing with the phone interface then? in 07 it came with sat and nav together. learn something new everyday...;@).

I am sure someone here has done it though...

The little turttle thing for Sirrus was put on 2008 cars, I have seen them on the BJ and the Vista Blue. I believe that NO GO cars had it and I have yet to see them. My hertz has it.
