Southshore cobra
I have 3500 miles on my 11 SVTPP, and I don't think I've ever seen the traction control light go on while driving. If traction control is working on this car, it sure doesn't seem to help much. My previous cars almost had "the hand of god" effect when you got stupid. This car seems like it wants to teach me a lesson for even minor traction related issues. Am I alone here? Southshore Cobra

Southshore cobra
Did your previous car have 550 HP? 2007 M6 500 hp with a tune and a six speed. This is my fifth mustang, still have my 97 Cobra vert with 4.10s and no TC. Just a little surprised I'm not seeing an engagement light.

Just a little surprised I'm not seeing an engagement light. I have not seen mine go on either, however if things are getting a little sideways I am usually not looking at my dash. If you run the car using the different traction control settings such as everything on (default), sport mode, or having everything turned off you can feel a pretty big difference in the cars handling. Mine is a 2010 but believe the traction control is still the same.
