Where are all the White ones??????

Love MINE. In fact, a day doesn't go by when I drive mine that I'm not asked about it multiple times. I'd originally had my heart set on the traditional White with Grabber Blue stripe. I wasn't too happy about being limited to the Red/Black SVTPP stripe, but I now wouldn't have it any other way.

I love white too, but don't see a lot. My first mustang was white, but my most recent purchase was a black stripe deleted gt500 verte. It's a lot of work to keep it looking good, but was definitely the look I wanted. More of a stealth look without the stripes, but it definitely causes a lot of people to do a double take when they realize what they're looking at. I've owned black and white sports cars only in the past. Apparently my color palette is limited to the monochromatic.

man the choices are tough I whish the dealers around here had some to see in person. Any silver stripe ones or different wheels(super snake)

Not more than a handful of dealers ever have SuperSnakes made for themselves - or go about swapping parts on Mustang's already near the $60K mark. At SOME point, you're going to have to use a little imagination, Google image search or PhotoShop.

They have a couple more, but none supersnake here, nearby.

In fact, they don't seems to sell too many Shelby's around. The day I bought mine, they still had in stock, 7 x 2011 (including mine, and including a red one sold the week before but still there), and 2 x 2010 left, still brand new. For some reasons, the Shelby's seems too expensive for canadian customers, so they stay with them in stock.

2 more pictures I took in my dealer backyard:

Since I started paying attention, I've noticed some interesting trends that make Canada a VERY different market.

For example, in 2011, Canada accounted for about 7% of all Coupes made, but more than 21% of Convertibles. And yes, because new currency values are being applied to old currency worths, I can understand why they may sit longer - especially with gas prices what they are.

Personnaly I find the Shelby quite easy on the gas, for such power ! Anyway I don't really care about EPA for a sport car that I'm driving only few days a week in summer time only. In fact my vert burn twice what my Golf TDI burns, but the vert has 4 time the hp of the Golf TDI.....

So what I save wih the TDI, I burn it in the Shelby ! Good deal, no ?

+1 for the love of white! None of mine are/were GT500's but they are/were all white!

Current car...

I've tried to upgrade each time!

66 = not a GT (though it does... still have it in ND... a 302)

05 = GT

07 = SGT

Next -> GT500 (not until I have a garage that can hold all the current rigs and more though... not getting rid of the SGT. She's a keeper.

I like the '66 the most.....You guys in the US don't like the hot color (I means color that attract the sun and heat up the car's cabin), here in the "great north", we enjoy the most darkest color, just to be able to make longer use of our summer toy

Here's a couple of pic from one in stock at a local Puyallup, Wa. dealer (Korum Ford). They ordered it stripe delete, then took it to a local paint shop and had the silver stripe painted then cleared coated. They did a beautiful job on it, smooth as glass. Looks to me that they took out the front and rear glass, the stripes go into the window / body seam areas.

I agree - a beautiful job. There's just no comparison between taped and painted stripes. I wonder what the net effect upon the window sticker will be.

But given the lack of financial incentive for the stripe delete, I'm surprised the dealer didn't order the car with a Shelby Silver stripe which would've allowed the seat stripes to match too - albeit at the expense of forgoing the SVTPP which, the longer I own MY car, I'm convinced is truly worthwhile only to those who've decided to never make a wheel or suspensio modification - EVER.

That said, I can only imagine how terrific a set of two-color SVTPP stripes would look painted and cleared. It's certainly not the kind of expense I'd consider if I were EVER intending to sell or trade later.

Seems they forgot to measure twice and paint once - the stripes are extremely wide.

Actually, at least as far as 2012's go, Canada has only about 3/4 the rate of Black, and nominally more white vehicles as everywhere else. The only other drastic differences are about twice as many Grabbers and about 50% more Kona Blues - mostly at the expense of expense of Black and Race Red.
