JBMB
I seem to be missing a part or two from under my engine. I want to know exactly what so I wonder if anyone would post a pic of GT-h from under their car, ground up, from radiator and back about 2-3 feet toward engine. I am exposed under here and I think I need a piece of trim or something to cover under engine, radiator. Thanks a lot in advance!!

Larry T
thanks! Here is a website showing the California special bumper kit, it is the same one that we have on our GT-H's http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/LRS-20049A/2005-09-Mustang-California-Special-Front-Bumper-Kit Also here is a website for the splash guard if that is what you are missing http://www.cjponyparts.com/product.aspx?p=MF3L Hope it helps
MustangTom
Not my car, but a picture I found on this site when I was looking for the same info: There are two pieces that go under the car. One wraps around the bottom, and the other is the more rectangular piece. I have the part numbers at home (at work now), but if you google for 'California Special front bumper parts' you might find them. For those needing a front bumper as well, don't forget that unless they've changed it recently it's cheaper to buy the front bumper 'kit' that includes the shields than it is to buy just the front bumper by itself. Thanks a bunch MustangTom, the pic is valuable to me. Yeah, if you can get me the part numbers for just the wrap piece and rectangular piece that the GT-H has. Also, I dont need a bumper. My bumper is there and just has empty screw holes on the bottom. I can see the underside of my radiator as well so I need the rectangular piece. Do you think it's something I can install myself? Finally, so that's it, no cover of any kind going further back beyond the rectangular piece in the pic? I appreciate your help.
MustangTom
5R3Z-17626-BA is the rectangular 'deflector' piece that is common to the Mustang GT. 7R3Z-17C947-AA is the California Special/Shelby piece that fills the space between the deflector and bumper. I also found these part numbers for the attaching hardware: N801169S900 for the screws, and W705992S441 for the clips. For completeness, the part number for the entire kit which includes a front bumper and everything else above is 6R3Z-6320049-AA. The prices I was quoted last year from the local Ford dealership were: 45.63 for the deflector 62.12 for the filler piece 399 for the complete bumper kit I hope that helps! ShelbyGTH-NL
I am also missing the defector under my car! I found this picture Is number 8310 the piece that fills up space between the deflector and bumper?
JBMB
As Mustang Tom said.......7R3Z-17C947-AA is the California Special/Shelby piece that fills the space between the deflector and bumper, but Ford parts has it as 17C947B. I recon most of those deflector plates were broken cause the GT-h rides so low. http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/PartDetail.aspx?n=qazyzbYnSZ9g3cCs883g9Q%3d%3d&id=152913307&m=2&search=true&year=2007&make=Ford&model=Mustang
