GO 2008 Shelby GT-C without trunk logo

Recommended Posts

Someone mentioned that the last few grabber orange GT-C cars in 2008 didn't have a trunk logo. Can anyone confirm this?

Just curious....why? If you want to buy one SPP should have them or is this an issue that could be a Shelby mishap that could turn into a very interesting rarety in the future?

If it was like that from the factory, I might just leave it to keep it stock.

If it fell off due to bad adhesive, or was stolen, I'd like to replace it.

If it's the lettering you are refering to when I bought my car it was missing the "Y" on the back. The dealership took an additional $200 off the price of the car. If it was my car I would buy the lettering and keep it on a shelf for safe keeping in case Shelby decides to no longer carry the part. Your car may have come with the lettering and some jerk may have tore it off like mine. -Kevin

I'm pretty sure they all came with the lettering.

Although here is #208 for sale (listed as a gt500) with no trunk letters.

#208 is the one I just purchased :)

But there was a post a while back about missing lettering so I wondered.

Will these letters be difficult to purchase, or very expensive?
