GLHS0136 Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 This video was recorded at the Jan 2011 banquet dinner honoring Carroll. He begins his story with the request to build cars at Dodge. He speaks of the 90HP 2.2 he had to work with which 3 years later was pushing out 750HP. He goes on to talk of his own 450HP GLHS which will "give a Supersnake a hell of a run up to 150MPH". He was proud of his work and he had fun "making a mule outrun a racehorse" as he once was quoted before I believe about the GT350. We just had someone this morning wanting to buy Carroll's #001 Shelby Dakota out of the museum display, I had to let him down gently.
