GT-H's for sale/auction listings

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I started this post for all to show any and all sales listings or upcoming auctions for the 06 and 07 GT-H's.

If you know of any GT-H's for sale or auctions coming up, post it here.

I'll start:

Thanks all.

I saw all these, the first 07 vert seems nice and its up to $25K. The second one actually sold last week and the bidder did not pay, it sold last week for $22K in the wrecked condition.

I know some had less miles than mine, I have 36,000 on mine but its in great shape, but I only was offered $23K for mine on ebay this week. I did get two guys from overseas that offered me $25K. My bottom number is $27k, so I will just hang on to it and see what happens in 6 months.

Check this one out.

Only 10,731 miles for an 06. Very nice.

I have no evidence to back this next statement up, other than an article I read somewhere. But I remember NJ as having odometer fraud issues. I am not claiming this to be the case here, but an unscientific observation tells me that many cars I see for sale in this state seem to have what I would say, lower miles than others. Coincidence maybe, but even their own DMV admits they are understaffed to combat this problem. With an economy struggling, I would be even more cautious. So, the "take away" from this should be, buyer always be aware. My .02

I just bought #498 from NJ for $28,850. I had #298 but sold it.....kicked myself for letting it go. It was the most fun car to drive I had in my stable!

Can't wait to get this one in my hands! I will let you know if the mileage seems "mis-stated" or not.

Great job!!! And if you could update us on the mileage question, it would be of interest to all us car nuts.

Folks.......point of clarification........according to their sales department today........

Volocars.com has mistakenly posted photos of car 07H261 (which they previously had & sold) to advertise 07H252. You'll notice on their web page, the description of the car referrs to 07H252. Mileage, price and vin, they say, ARE correct for car 07H252.

Looks like I'll not be getting my sister convertible any time soon. 07#102 is back on ebay and is currently bid up to $49K and has met the reserve. Sells in 7 hours. Very interesting. Seems that prices are heading north for some reason.

Cmon $50k and 22 bidders on this car.......give me a break!!!!

And yet, the previous mentioned "one of 18" GT-H stick shifts with 850 miles that was owned by a Hertz executive, has ZERO bids at $50k!!!!!! Really, the other car must be something special.

So, if you want the car, I am willing to bet that it will still be available once the auction is over. Try contact the seller and I am sure you will get one of the reliable stories as to why the sale did not go through........ you know "buyer could not get financing" or "buyer could not come up with the funds" or "I tried to contact the buyer but there was no response" or one of a hundred other generic responses as to why the sale was not completed. If he uses one of these magic answers, he gets his ebay fees back and he looses nothing and receives some good free advertising. I would actually call this a "scheme".

Perhaps the seller has read this thread and knows you are interested in the car so he is out fishing with shill bidders hoping to land a BIG WHOPPING JeffJ as his prize. I am sure you are much too smart for this judging by you informed assessment of the price but you should still make the call once the auction is over and offer what you feel is "fair". In time they will call back and offer you the car at that price.

I have done this 3 times in the past couple of years and they always call back. You have to be patient.

I've contacted the seller quite a few times over the past TWO years. They are really stuck on that $50K number. I even looked at the car when I was in the area a couple years ago. Guess what.....still for sale. They have been offered $38K in the past. Sure I'd love to have it, but I'll take a different numbered one in the $20's thanks.
