Nice!

Those appear to be on a stock 2007-09 GT500 wheel.

Stock width = 9.5" .... right?

Did you consider widening the stock wheel to 11.0" or 11.25"?

I had Eric Vaughn @ www.ericvaughnmachine.com, located in Monrovia, California widen my Alcoas to 11.75"

The reason I opted for Eric Vaughn, two reasons.

He has been doing this for 30+ years and comes highly recommended.

He does not add material to make the wheel wider, therefore, there is only one weld bead. He actually cuts your rim and adds another backside from another wheel he modified. Since he has been doing this for 30+ years, he has a tremendous amount excess inventory.

Turn around. 3-4 weeks.

Cost $300 per wheel plus shipping.

Just plan on 3-4 weeks turnaround.

I used this company for shipping:

https://www.ontrac.com/

$20 per wheel shipping.

Your wheel/tire looks super beefy. Thanks for posting pics.

thanks for that great info you provided. it is on a 100% stock 07-09 GT500 18 X 9.5 rim. i was thinking about widening to a 10.5in rims so i dont have to modify anything an can still hit twisties but was thinking about buying a brand new set on 18in 2010 rims an having 2 of them widen

i've got the same nt05r on my stock wheels. works fine. i'm happier with these than my mickey thompson's due to stiffer sidewall...better cornerning!

That is sweet. How have they hooked for you at the track?

i haven't gone to the track with them on. however, on street they hook great in 2nd gear no matter how hard i romp it. i can easily roast 1st gear of course. however, with some gas pedal finesse i can keep traction in 1st gear and take off like a rocket! my boost comes on so fast with my jon lund tune, i can use half-pedal and take advantage of all the boost without overpowering the tires. very fun! :superhero:
