zombeast
Do you have to leave the rear O2 sensors in with an O/R pipe since they are turned off in the tune?
0201212
No they are not required. You can just plug the holes or put a wide band in one of them to keep am eye on your A/F ratio.

2010KonaBlueGT
Do you have to leave the rear O2 sensors in with an O/R pipe since they are turned off in the tune? The rear sensors are to test the Catalytic Converter function. If the front and rear sensor both measure the same amount of Oxygen in the exhaust stream, it means the Cat is not working. It is looking for a DIFFERENCE between the two. So if you put a Off-road pipe on your car (which I ASSUME means there are no Cats in it) the sensor will see the same O2 content pre and post Cat and set a code (bad Cat). As someone else already said, you would need a aftermarket tune that turns the rear sensors off. And that does leave you with a good place for a UEGO sensor to momitor AFR. And for what it's worth, it's against Federal Law to disable or remove any emission control device or system from a vehicle that is driven on a public road/street (which is what you'd be doing).
