FiaCobra
Could you imagine? I would restore the car if I had that frame.
08KR525
Is the car an actual original 1965 production or is it an actual 1965 Cobra produced later? Either way, it's still a neat story.
shelbymotorsports
There are several threads on this episode of the "scripted" TV show Pawn Stars. Don't believe everything you see on TV Steve
frknfast
Hey I know Mark Logan. He has been at my house here in Canada and I had a great meeting with him. Also been to his shop in Nevada / LV Speedway where this show was shot. I can tell you that the CSX # is in the correct location. As the number was not shown you can't tell what year it was built. Most likely a 4000 series car as it looks very new. Maybe even a 6000 series car as the 4000s are done. The body looks very new and was probably made by kirkham. Great find for him. REAL ONE
Clearly a continuation series aluminum body cox roller. $60k is under valuing it substantially. It looked new. New aluminum body CSX Cobra rollers are $125k. Edited March 21, 2011 by REAL ONE
frknfast
Realone you are correct. However in this case it did not say if the completion kit to make it a complete roller was included or not.
REAL ONE
You are also correct. On second look it looks like a real bare bones roller. No gauges, suspension springs, plumbing/wiring, lights, pedals, interior items other hardware etc...to be seen. Also it is clearly not a '65 Cobra. Its a Continuation series based on the '65 design and specs. I would think its safe to say a genuine '65 even in that bare bones condition would be worth quite a bit more then $60K.
