mad103
we have Flowmaster 40 series exhaust on an 06 Mustang GT and we have looked into possibly switching them for some Cherry Bomb Exhaust. We have never heard of the brand until recently but the sound clips sound pretty good. We are looking for a more musclar sound and have thought about doing an O/R H-pipe but they are super illegal here in CA. Is anybody familiar with this brand or have it on their stang? We are looking into possibly the Extreme series of Glass Pack series (which looks to be straight thru) Do you lose any performance with straight thru exhaust? Here is a link to the page http://www.cherrybomb.com/ Thanks Alex

They are just loud as all hell, especially with an O/R H-pipe.

They are nothing more than straight through pipes with fiberglass sound deading material stuffed in them. The material breaks down over time, and your just left with a muther F'in loud car. Oh it will sound mean and nasty allright, but you won't be able to hear or speak to someone in the car while your driving it. Hope this helps. I was only 20 yrs late though. Are you talking about the glass pack or the extreme. Glass pack is straight through, not sure about the extreme series. You say they breakdown, so is that a bad thing, dont other break down? We have flowmaster 40s right now, but would you recommend Cherry, if so, which one for the 06? Or would SLPs be better? All we want is gain/no gain (just no loss) in hp and something loud that will last (not forever).
