Davis, mentions rumors he's heard at Ford about a Shelby pocket-rocket based on the Focus or Fiesta platform. As David E. comments, "it's a latter day GLH (Goes Like Hell)" and that he "can't wait to drive the prototype." Below is a link to David E's column, you'll have to decide if this "rumor leak" was intentional or not. Although Carroll has already hinted to this possibility previously.
