These billet Watts link is machined from a 1 x 5 x 32 block of 6061 T6 billet aluminum, which offers un-compromised strength and durability. The T6 temper 6061 has an ultimate tensile strength of at at least 42,000 psi (290 MPa) and yield strength of at least 35,000 psi (241 MPa). Since 6061 contains magnesium and silicon as its major alloying elements, it's ultra strong yet weighs 2 pounds less than our steel version. Applications: 2005-2011 Ford and Shelby Mustangs coupes. I was waiting on this part to be released so I could purchase one, but I think I will go with the original and save some money and put it somewhere else on the car. No offense, it is nice but it does the same thing as the original only at twice the price. Thanks for for the R&D Robert and crew, but just too much money for me.
