Aussie Snake
Hey Guys, I was speaking to Van Collier just before Christmas and said..."Want to upgrade my Exhaust, what do you suggest...also what else can i add to my car"...well a few thousand of dollars later hahaha and i have added... 1. New KR Exhaust 2. New Spec R Clutch 3. New Griggs Aluminium Front Spindle 4. New Griggs Brake hats so i could add back my original SS Baer extreme brakes 5. New Shelby Super Snake Strut bar 6. New Pulley on SC to take me up to 800hp. I also bought a set of Ford Shorty Headers, but couldnt fit them due to the modifications made on the left to right hand drive conversion !!!! So how does it all go..... Like a bat out of hell !!!! The griggs was great before, but the new front spindle means that the front dynamics are even better than before. The car is lower, handles better, turns in better, and looks unbelievably good !!! http://www.grigg ing.com/product_info.php?cPath=4332_4309_4320_4328_2000_3041&products_id=373 Took my car for a blast out in the country today (summer still over here), shot up a fantastic mountain road, twists and turns, it was magic. Except my wife was a bit green in the passenger seat afterwards haha. The new clutch, P-Spec, is brilliant. Its taken me awhile to get use to the new clutch but love it. It grabs and holds the revs, very nice. The new exhaust makes the car sound like a true muscle car, its LOUD. I do like it after driving over 14,000 miles so far, its like a new car. Even the missus doesnt mind the sound. speaking of which my son put this together http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh88/AustSnake/?action=view¤t=SupersnakeExhaustBeforeandAfter.mp4 Pics of Car and Camber of new Front Spindle...(taken in the snakes natural habitat...the BP Petrol Station) Sorry guys didnt get around to taking a picture of the strut, but seen one seen them all haha. In case anyone asks, the front splitter is a cheap racing carbon fibre that Craig Dean made for me so i dont damage my SS one (which is bubble wrapped in the garage). Many Thanks to Van for his advise (Revan Racing of course), and Craig Dean at Mustang Motorsport for putting it all on. JC
