BIKEBOY
David- you are after my heart this morning!! I gave Grabber a large diecast of that Black Phantom to give to his Dad for this past Xmas. I had a repro. of that Black Beauty in my store that was built in 1995 by Schwinn and NEVER ridden! I built it from the box and never rode it! It cost me $1600 from a midwestern old Scwhinn dealer who had several still in the boxes. Then one day I traded it for the Apple Krate in this pic. :happy feet: Thanks for the walk down memory lane! interceptor
I had a Huffy Rail as a kid. I put a chrome shift ball on it. It had a sissy bar, head rest and cheater slick on it. A friend of mine had a Huffy wheel. Those things were a trip to ride with a steering wheel instead of handlebars. Does anyone remember when you could get colored tires?
