Newbreedgt500
I'm looking to purchase some Forgestar F14's 20x9 front and 20x11 rear. My car is lowered with the Eibach Prokits. I'm wondering if anybody with a lowered car is running 315/35/20 tires in the rear and is experiencing any rubbing issues. I know that the bump stop bracket will need to be cut off. dbackg
Great question. Hopefully somebody is and will reply with feedback. I just pulled the trigger on Michelin 335/30 PS2's and widen my wheels to 11.75. 315 are best on a 11.5" wheel. 11's may be to much side wall buldge. I have seen a few GT500's with 11's and 315/35's , but none of them were lowered.

Newbreedgt500
Nitto NT05R 315/35/20 on CS66 20x11 w/FRPP lowering springs and zero clearance issues I saw your post in the thread about the forgestars. I'm worried that since those are different wheels, the backspacing would be different and make them not comparable. Is that not the case? Looks like you still have plenty of room. I measured from the ground to the top of the fenderwell and it's only 27.5". The tires would be 28.6" and given the compression of the tires from the weight, it looks to be really close. dbackg
That looks awesome blueovalkid! Who widen your wheels? Thanks for the pics. Nice possible option for the SS owners. How is the hookup on those Nitto's?
blueovalkid
It is a apples to oranges comparo since you have different wheels and springs but I thought I would share my combo and experience

I appreciate it. I think I'll just try it and hope for the best. I could always put the stock springs back in as a last resort.
ironpeddler
Hey newbreed, what is the wait time that you got on your Forgestar wheels? I just ordered mine today and they gave me a 8-10 week leat time. I also have the Eibach pro-kit springs on my car so I hope these fit cause I plan on putting the nitto nt05r back there. Where did you order them from? I ordered directly from Peter at Forgestar and he said they had a couple sets in stock. They were piano black though, so they would have to send them out for powdercoating. He said it would be about 1.5-2 weeks before they'd ship them to me.
