Everyone is welcome to attend, not just TWCC members. I hope to see some of you there. The event is from 9:00am to 11:00am, and it is usually good to arrive a little early. I am not a member of The Woodlands Car Club, but I enjoy and support this event that they host. Anyone is welcome to come out and participate. There is no cost, but they appreciate donations, that are all given to a local charity. It is not near as big as Houston C&C, but there are still some beautiful cars and a lot of fun. Many of us meet ahead of time and arrive together. We will meet in the Target parking lot on I-45 @ Lake Woodlands Drive at 8:30am and leave at 8:45am to drive to Market Street. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Time: Sunday, March 6 · 9:00am - 11:00pm Location: Market Street, The Woodlands, TX Created By: The Woodlands Car Club More Info: The Woodlands Car Club will meet at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon, in between Jasper's and the movie theater to continue efforts to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community. The purpose behind the meets is to provide a morning gathering to show off our special vehicles within the car club and the local community, share information about needful non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, and to give back monetarily as well. TWCC will be collecting coins/change for our donation to the Market Street Change for Charities program that will benefit non-profit organizations in Montgomery County. The four recipients for 2010 are: New Danville, Montgomery County Emergency Assistance, Montgomery County Pet Partners, & Montgomery County Committee on Aging The Friendship Center. The Montgomery County Committee on Aging - The Friendship Center is the recipient for October, November and December's event. DocHolliday Posted March 3, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 I want to let everyone know about a few changes for this Sunday, and future TWCC Car and Coffee events, as requested by Dana. Market Street has requested that when we arrive we check in (and make donations) then fill the street on the Movie Theater side, starting at the far end near Tommy Bahamas, and park at angles on both side of the street, working back toward Starbucks. When that area fills up we will use the area near Johnny Rockets, there are an additional 45 space there. Market Street has requested that we no longer park on the street on the north side of the park. And lastly, the event time is going to change to 9am-11am. Please respect these requests so Market Street will continue to host the event and allow us to be there. Please note the time change to meet ahead of time to drive together… 8:30am, leave at 8:45am.
