Nitro Posted February 22, 2011 Report Share Posted February 22, 2011 Did anyone catch Pawn Stars this week where a guy got an original 1965 cobra body and chassis for free by removing it from a storage unit that the owner stopped paying on. Sold it for 30K. Can't believe the owner would let this get away from him. You would think someone from the storage facility would know how to get hold of the owner. But they probably have some kind of an agreement like you have to sell the item(if it is real) to them once the expert comes in Because its a TV show. If you really believe that people walk into this pawn shop, out of the blue, with these wild items then you have fallen into the producers hands. Steve Rick was on Letterman a few months ago, he said when they get the "rare" items they shut down their shop and make everyone leave, but the small not so special stuff they leave the shop open. Also, who in their right mind takes an original CSX Cobra and has it built at a non Shelby faciity when Shelby American is located in the exact same city...
